Gurdwara Guru Nanak Saheb Ji

The place where the Guru Granth Sahib is installed and treated with due respect according to Sikh code of conduct and convention can be referred to as a gurdwara, whether it is a room in one’s own house or a separate building. This gurudwara “Gurunanak Saheb ji” gurudwara is situated on Mumabi Agra national highway. This Gurdwara was build in year 1965 by Late Shri Sant Baba Sadhusinghji Muni. After him, it was managed by Shri Sant Baba Niranjansinghji from Agra and now it is managed bu Shri Sant Baba Dhirajsinghji.

Local transportation such as auto rickshaws is available to reach to this place. Peculiarity about this place is that it is open to people of all the religion. The birth anniversaries of the first guru, Guru Nanakdevji and tenth guru, Guru Govindsinghji are celebrated as festivals with great enthusiasm. The main functions which are carried on daily basis which will help you to boost your morale are:

  • Shabad Kirtan: which is the singing of hymns from the Guru Granth Sahib. Strictly speaking only Shabads from Guru Granth Sahib, Dasam Granth and the compositions of Bhai Gurdas and Bhai Nand Lal.
  • Paath: which is religious discourse and reading of Gurbani from the Guru Granth Sahib, with its explanations.
  • Sangat and Pangat: which is a free community kitchen as a langar for all visitors, irrespective of religious, regional, cultural, racial, caste or class affiliations?

This Gurdwara is developed on 7acre of land. This Gurdwara have a huge ‘Langar’ hall which is opened 24 hours a day. People from all religion & tradition visits this holy place for blessings, offer services by all means & attend all festival celebration. Gurdwara has beautiful inner golden roof with hanging Jhoomar at the centre. Gurdwara is one of the center of attraction of its Dhule city.

People visits in large number during festivals from Amalner, Nasik and Shirdi. Mostly people heading for Nanded take a halt at this holy place.

There is big Garden in Gurdwara premises. Children are provided with the knowledge of Bhajan – Kirtan, spritual learning.It is identified from a distance by tall flag-poles bearing the Nishan Sahib, the Sikh flag.
